Welcome to the Tikkun Olam Guide. For those who don't know, Tikkun Olam is a form of Jewish charity. It means "repairing the world" in Hebrew. Most denominations of Juidams and Jews hold the belief that all people apart of Judaism should participate in Tikkun Olam activities. Even for non-Jews, Tikkun Olam is still a fine concept for acts of charity. Activities deemed Tikkun Olam include a number of things such as fighting poverty, animal welfare, and equal rights.
